You may recognize this
You may have already explained the problem a hundred times—and still feel it in your body, your relationships, or the moments when pressure takes over. Perhaps you feel anxious, disconnected, stuck in an old pattern, unseen by someone you love, uncertain in your identity, or unable to perform with the freedom you know you have.
Somara offers another way in: one that includes words, but does not stop with words.
How it works
Virtual care that still feels human
Somara is intentionally virtual. From your own space, sessions can still include breath, posture, imagery, gesture, mirroring, and gentle movement, adapted to your privacy, technology, access needs, and comfort.
Video-based psychotherapy can work well for many clients, but fit depends on clinical need, privacy, safety, technology, and preference.

Meet Zano
A therapist who listens to your words—and pays attention to what your whole self is saying.
Aloha! I'm Zano J. Manzano, a Nevada Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist, a clinical hypnotherapist, and a Certified Qigong Specialist. I'm also a Filipino American born and raised in Hawaiʻi, and I bring the warmth, welcome, and relational spirit of home into my work.
My style is compassionate, direct, creative, and grounded. We address the person—not reduce you to a diagnosis—and build a process that respects your culture, identities, goals, and pace.

The meaning behind Somara
Somara names an approach that is embodied, relational, and culturally grounded. The name draws on soma - the body as lived from within - and an echo of aura, the felt quality of presence. Its philosophy is also informed by kapwa and by Zano's Hawaiʻi upbringing and respect for mana.
